COLD HAVEN shortlisted for the 2026 Global Production Awards

The series COLD HAVEN has been shortlisted for the Global Production Awards 2026, in the “Location of the Year” category, which recognizes outstanding use of locations in film and television production worldwide.

The shortlist was unveiled by Screen International, as part of an award that celebrates excellence and sustainability across the global production landscape.

A co-production with Iceland’s Glassriver for RTP and Símmin, COLD HAVEN marks the first collaboration between Portugal and Iceland, blending Nordic noir with southern European influences. The story follows the investigation into the violent death of a woman on a remote island, uncovering deep secrets and tensions within an isolated community.

The awards ceremony will take place on May 18 during the Cannes Film Festival 2026, in an invite-only event for industry professionals.

This shortlist further reinforces the international recognition of COLD HAVEN, highlighting the visual and narrative impact of its locations.
