SENHOR PRESIDENTE – O CAMPEONATO DE UMA VIDA receives international nomination award

The documentary SENHOR PRESIDENTE – O CAMPEONATO DE UMA VIDA was honored with a nomination at the Venice TV Award 2025, in the SPORT category.

The Venice TV Award is one of the most prestigious international television awards, created to celebrate excellence in television production around the world. Held in Venice, it brings together the best global television content every year, recognizing projects that stand out for their quality, creativity, and impact.

After its premiere in March 2024 on Prime Video, the documentary Senhor Presidente, The Championship of a Lifetime was broadcast on Porto Canal.This three-episode documentary series, recorded over more than a year in partnership with FC Porto, revisits the life and work of Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, one of the most iconic presidents in Portuguese football.

The project gives voice to Pinto da Costa himself, but also brings together testimonies from prominent national and international figures, such as José Mourinho, Sérgio Conceição, Florentino Pérez, Pepe, Jorge Mendes, and former President of the Republic General Ramalho Eanes, among many others.

It is 87 years of life portrayed in an intimate and inspiring account, in which the president of FC Porto opens the doors to his personal life for the first time, sharing unique moments with family, friends, and personalities who have marked his journey.
