How friendship and union can change the World...

Afonso and Isabel are married and have a daughter after all these years. Sofia knows nothing about her parents’ past, and they fear that she might be special and a target for supernatural creatures. In order to protect her, Isabel has been researching vampires and her own past, recently pouring herself over the prophecy of Magnus,  a fearsome beast that requires a drop of special blood to awaken from its dormant state. On Sofia’s 17th birthday, like her mother before her, she turns into a human with special powers. On that same night, mother and daughter share a terrifying vision of the monster and the next day Isabel is gone. Afonso turns to Henrique and Beatriz for help in finding his wife but, to Sofia’s dismay, instead of her mother returning, her father along with Henrique and Beatriz disappear as well. Sofia is left in the care of Hélio, her godfather, and Teresa, a vampire friend of Afonso who will train the young girl. Hélio has no idea that danger lurks nearby... Eunice, his new girlfriend, is a gorgon who has approached him in an attempt to discover the identity of the girl whose blood can free the terrifying Magnus. As Sofia learns to harness her powers, she begins to realise that she is surrounded by magical beings such as vampires, werewolves, mermaids, monsters, and gorgons.
