SPi takes part in international panel on microdramas and vertical content
On June 11, SPi took part in the International Series Fest Ría de Vigo, in Spain, through Pedro Lopes, General Director of Content, who joined the panel “Microdramas y Contenido Vertical: la ficción en la era del scroll”, dedicated to one of the trends that has most significantly shaped the evolution of audiovisual consumption in recent years.
The discussion brought together professionals from across the industry, including David Cívico (Mangomolo), Eduardo Basarte (Shorta), Bla Acinas (Adhokers) and Diego del Pozo (Atresmedia), to reflect on the growth of microdramas and vertical content and their impact on the way stories are created, distributed and consumed.
According to the festival organizers, the panel explored vertical content not only as a new format, but also as part of a broader transformation of consumption habits, audiovisual storytelling, technological platforms, and production and distribution models.
Part of the second edition of the International Series Fest Ría de Vigo, the event brought together audiovisual industry professionals for screenings, talks, conferences and networking opportunities focused on the latest trends in television fiction and entertainment, fostering knowledge-sharing and discussion around the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the sector.
SPi’s participation in this international event reflects the group’s commitment to keeping pace with the trends driving the evolution of the audiovisual industry. Taking part in forums of this nature provides valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities associated with new ways of creating, distributing and consuming content.
