Synopsis

BACK HOME

Marta just heard the most terrifying phrase from her husband Cayetano: "I guess that’s it, it’s over." A house they owned, two children, fifteen years of a marriage, the routine that she used to call happiness…

Cayetano, the CEO of a telecom company, asked the divorce and all the signs Marta has been ignoring for a long time it all makes sense now: she was replaced by a younger girl, Lola.

Marta, communication manager at Cayetano's company quits her job and moves with her children to the North of Portugal letting Cayetano free to open the family house to his new girlfriend.

This divorce will be just the first piece of dominoes to fall and it will affect them all.

The night she was celebrating her wedding anniversary, she received a divorce papers. Since then Marta is just trying not to fall off a cliff. She was married to Cayetano for fifteen years - eighteen, counting the dating period. She really thought they were happy... and she was wrong. Marta quit the company where she worked with Cayetano, took the kids, and left Spain. She returned to her parents and childhood friends to pick up the pieces and, who knows, find love.
