Synopsis

DA MOOD

Rui is a music teacher who is dissatisfied with his life. One day, after seeing a t-shirt with a picture of the Backstreet Boys, he comes up with the idea of creating a boy band as a solution to his problems. In order to do this, he asks a talent agent and long-time friend to help him find the remaining elements of the band. This marks the beginning of Da Mood!

This will be a journey with disillusionments, creative disagreements, fights for leadership, drug and alcohol abuse, arguments over money, constant harassment from women... Everything that a rock star biopic is entitled to.

Miguel Raposo

Rui has a degree in music, instrument variant, piano and keys branch. He gives music lessons to private individuals, but is dissatisfied with his life. He is 33 years old and lives with financial difficulties and no prospects for the future. He has suffered from anxiety and panic disorders since the age of 21. He is shy and a little naïve, without "street smarts". He has a complicated relationship with his parents and has not spoken to them for years. His life is joyless and it shows even in the way he dresses.
