Sintra Hosts the Semifinals of the 2026 International Emmy Awards

The SP TV Group attended the semifinals of the International Emmy Awards, which took place last Friday, July 3, at the National Palace of Queluz in Sintra. Pedro Lopes, General Director of Content at SP Televisão and Chief Creative & Strategy Officer at SPi, participated as a member of the Portuguese jury.

The event brought together national jurors responsible for evaluating the international entries submitted for the awards, in a day that began in the morning and concluded with a red carpet event dedicated to professionals in the audiovisual industry.

The official nominees for the International Emmy Awards will be announced this coming September, and the winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony, which will take place in November in New York.

Among the productions submitted by the SP TV Group for the 2026 International Emmy Awards, The Last Will stands out a project competing in the awards and also represented by Ricardo Pereira’s performance in the Best Actor category. The production company is thus strengthening its presence at what is considered one of the most prestigious international awards in the television industry, also submitting the series Red Moon: New Generation and Cold Haven.
